L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) has brought international recognition to India by winning the prestigious UITP Award 2025 in the ‘Digital Innovation’ category. The award was presented at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit held in Barcelona, Spain.
The International Association of Public Transport (UITP), a globally renowned body, honoured LTMRHL for its cutting-edge digital initiatives that enhanced passenger experience and operational excellence. The award-winning entry, titled “Revolutionising Passenger Experience and Operational Excellence through Digital Innovation”, showcased LTMRHL’s adoption of intelligent transport systems and customer-centric solutions.
The accolade places Hyderabad Metro Rail among a global league of outstanding public transport systems, with entries this year received from over 40 countries. The jury recognised LTMRHL’s forward-thinking approach to leveraging technology for safe, efficient, and sustainable urban mobility.
